Inaba Masatomo (稲葉正知)

Masatomo INABA (1685 - June 25, 1729) was the second lord of Sakura Domain of the Shimosa Province. He was the first lord of Yodo Domain of the Yamashiro Province.
He was the fifth grand master of the Inaba family with ties to Masanari

He was the second son of the first lord of Sakura Domain Masayuki INABA. His lawful wife was the daughter of Tadataka OGASAWARA. His second wife was the daughter of the Imamura clan. His children included Masasada INABA (first son), Masato INABA (third son), Masafusa INABA (fourth son), and a daughter (lawful wife of Takasumi ARIMA). His ranks were Jugoinoge (Junior Fifth Rank, Lower Grade), Jushiinoge (Junior Fourth Rank, Lower Grade), Mino no kuni no kami (the governor of Mino Province), Tango no kuni no kami, and Nagato no kuni no kami.

He was born in Kyoto in 1685. His childhood name was Uemon. Because his eldest brother died young, he became the heir and became the lord of Sakura Domain in September 16, 1707. At this time he distributed 3000 koku to his younger brother Masasuke INABA. During his duties in Sakura Domain, he made efforts to improve traffic routes etc.

On June 3, 1723, he was transferred to Yamashiro-Yodo Domain. On June 25, 1729, he died at age 45 and his third son Masato succeeded him.
